The warning message of “Your PC is Blocked due to at least one of the reasons specified below” is part of the FBI MoneyPak scareware client. We already have a manual removal guide for this threat located at http://www.removevirus.org/fbi-moneypak-2 .
As you may of guessed this warning is not real. It’s a scam made up to trick and scare the user into making a purchase. This is one of the first malware threats out there that turns on a webcam. This alone is troublesome. The purpose of taking the image of you and mentioning the FBI is to really scare the end user into making a purchase to remove the warning.
Over the past 12 years of malware hunting and dealing with thousands of scams online I can tell that this is one of the better scams and I’m sure the makers of this client will be pushing it hard. Expect a high volume of computers to be infected with this virus threat.
