RegDefense | Scam or real product?

Is RegDefense a Scam or not?

RegDefense

RegDefense

RegDefence is a real product and not a virus. This program must be manually installed. However in our testing the results seemed to be over exaggerated and we found the whole overall experience a little annoying. Norton has classified this product as potentially unwanted and we feel the same. While it’s not a virus and a legit product we would not recommend it. You can fully remove this program via the add remove control panel in Windows. In a nut shell this is a registry cleaning product. If you are looking for a decent registry cleaner then we suggest reading a few reviews and choosing something else. We located this http://www.registrycleanersreviewed.com/ website. They list several decent registry cleaners and the reviews they have look to be decent as well.

Update: We still don’t like http://www.regdefense.com/ product. However it can no longer be called malware. In the lastest version we still found some scare tactics being used but it’s a legite registry cleaner and program. There are far better clients on the market and even free ones like http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner offer a better job. You should consider avoiding this product unless you really like the user interface. The program is straight forward and simple to use so I have to give credit where credit is due. However it’s just not worth the money considering how much better other cleaners are.

There are a number of registry cleaners on the market. Teh best one we have found is JV16Power Tools found at http://www.macecraft.com/. It offers a fully functional 30day trial and really does kick butt. The cost is low and you can even purchase a life time licence at the time of this writing. Others like Registry Booster are others that RemoveVirus.org likes
