Security Soldier
Security Soldier is a direct clone of Save Soldier and a few others. This software from our testing needs to be manually installed. Once installed on a system it will auto scan and show false scan results. What makes this software a little different then other fake security suits is it dumps a few hundred false traces in the Windows folder. While these traces by themselves don't seem to cause any harm it is annoying. Users will also get false warnings of being hacked and false warnings about other threats. Anything this program tells you is a lie. Simple as that.It will also show a security shield that uses the same graphic user interface as the real Windows one. There it will recommend you purchase Security Soldier to protect your computer. Don't fall prey to this. It's a scam and you should follow the bellow guide to remove it. You do need to run a full system scan.
Some symptoms of Security Soldier:
- Bogus Scan results
- Auto Scans on Start-up
- Warning coming out of a fake shield in the system tray
- pop-ups and re-directs to the fake software's website
- constant warnings of being infected as well as false statements of other trojans
