Malware Doctor is not the best fake client on the web. Normally these guys use a far slicker looking graphic user interface but this time I think they may of outsourced this misleading product to India or China. I mean if your going to go through all the effort of having a fake client made and hacking sites to deliver your payload then at least make the thing look good! We are still analyzing this client because it just came out yesterday. Follow the guide below and if you have any traces to add be sure and post a comment to help others out. We can tell you right now that the Task Manager and the Registry editor are disabled.
Some symptoms of Malware Doctor:
- Bogus Scan results
- Auto Scans on Start-up
- Warning coming out of a fake shield in the system tray
- pop-ups and re-directs to the fake software's website
- constant warnings of being infected as well as false statements of other trojans

Because in many cases the Task Manager is disabled you will need to use the Kill Process tool on the side bar of this site. We also have a patch to re-enable the Task Manager on the side bar.
Delete PMalware Doctor registry values: ( Learn How to Edit Registry Here. Opens in new Window )
- HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run Malware Doctor = "{Malware Path}"
- HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run Malware Doctor = "{Malware Path}"
Because the registry is disabled you will need to restore this settings. We made a patch called restore regedit on the side bar. Delete files: ( Hint )

Delete directories:
- Unkown as of yet. Please post a comment if you locate the directory as well as any file traces.
