WindoFix
After installing and testing out windoFix I would consider it to be a junk product. You can see for yourself by downloading it at windodix dot com. It seems that the scan results are over exaggerated. On the Norton Safe Web site this is listed as a potentialy unwanted program. It is not a virus and the program does seem to have to be manually installed. Windofix is a generic registry cleaning program. If you are looking for a regsitry cleaner I would suggest reading this http://www.registrycleanersreviewed.com/ site.
They at least list some good registry cleaning clients and decent reviews. You can uninstall this product via the add and remove control panel on your computer. If this program was installed on your computer with out your knowledge please post a comment below with as much detail as you can. For instance what site downloaded it onto your computer. Whether or not you had to install it and the like. Any info our readers can give would be helpful to many others.
I have tested some crappy products in my day and this is right on up there with the rest. The marketting of this product leaves a lot to be desired as well. It’s important that companies keep a close eye on how their affiliates represent and market the product. In this case I bet someone quickly built out this product line and just trough it up with out giving it much thought.
We do not expect the company or software to last long.
UPDATE: This product is no defunct. At least the website is down and parked so most likely know one out there even has to give this product a second thought. This is what happens when you release a crappy product and never bother to improve upon it.
