Malwarebytes Review

As lots of spyware and other malware programs can infect your computer when you are browsing through webpages, or you install certain programs, antispyware software is something you surely need on your computer.

Malwarebytes is a lightweight antispyware client that offers more than you may think. By lightweight, I mean it’s a small size program that’s easy to install and doesn’t require a big amount of system resources in order to clean your computer from Trojans or other viruses. It has to be said in this Malwarebytes review, that when the real-time protection option is enabled you won’t notice any decrease of the speed of your computer because Malwarebytes anti-spyware uses a very small part of you computers memory, unlike other similar programs that can affect the performances of your system.  If you have an older or already slow computer you will notice a decrease in speed when this program is scanning but it is small when you compare it to programs like Trend Micro or Norton.

The program offers a freeware version that has some features restricted but the protection it provides is definitely top class. A quick drive scan takes less than 10 minutes and you don’t need to stop from doing your work on the computer in this time as the scan can be performed in background mode.  Once the scan is complete all that’s left to do is to click the “Clean” button and in a matter of seconds all the problems will be solved and your system will be clean again.

While the freeware version is good enough to remove all the spyware from your computer, the full version offers a lot more. One of the main differences is that with the pro version you have real-time protection and access to the updates. The updates are extremely important as the number of spywares is growing from day to day. The virus database is updated daily and this is the main advantage that Malwarebytes has upon its competitors.

With the paid version you also get free support help and that by it’s self can be worth a whole lot.
