Smart Virus Eliminator is a fake security client that only provides false scan results.  This client attempts to scare the user into purchasing the product through statements like your personal data is being accessed or sent to a remote computer.  This is un-true and just an attempt to extort money form you.  This rouge client seems to be a copy off of past clients like Windows Security Suit.  The fake client likes to constantly bug the end user to purchase the product by showing pop-ups about the user being unprotected every few minutes.  We also noticed a rather loud swine like noise some times from this program. It's similar to a growl and very loud.  Loud enough to scare me the first time I heard it.  I can only imagine what would of happened if I had a cup of coffee in my hand the first time that noise went off.  It's all a scam so don't pay attention to any of the warnings or messages from this client. You will want to run a full scan using whatever security software you favor to ensure you have no other traces besides this threat.  If you do not have any client then we do suggest Spyware Doctor with antivirus

Some symptoms of Smart Virus Eliminator:

* Bogus Scan results * Auto Scans on Start-up * Warning coming out of a fake shield in the system tray * pop-ups and re-directs to the fake software's website * constant warnings of being infected as well as false statements of other trojans

Plenty of our registry keys located at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionImage File Execution Options were hijacked.  You should run a full scan to remove these threats. We also noticed Search-galla on our system.  To clean this just search our site above for Search Galla and there you will find the removal guide. Please keep in mind that viruses mutate and change all the time. Do expect the above to change around a little. However this guide should work well for you and any experienced pro will be able to follow it and figure out the traces if they mutate.
